Panel rules on ‘Keating 5’, The Christian Science Monitor, 1 Mar 1991.
Scholarship & press
Sens. John McCain (R) of Arizona and John Glenn (D) of Ohio each on one occasion exercised “poor judgment” on behalf of Keating, the panel said, but were not guilty of improper conduct, or violation of law or rules.

Congressional Record, Senate, 10 October 2002 (debate on the Iraq resolution, H.J. Res. 114), U.S. Government Publishing Office, 10 Oct 2002.
Primary record
The Tonkin Gulf resolution was simply window dressing.
I want to say in the few remaining seconds that to view the cause of the tragedy of the Vietnam war as being the Tonkin Gulf resolution is a somewhat, in my view, simplistic view.
