Wexner says he ended it in 2007, when he fired Epstein as his adviser, and that they never spoke again. Records released by the Justice Department show the two in touch in June 2008, after the plea deal was announced. He told the House Oversight Committee he was “conned” and knew of no crime. In a 2019 letter he said Epstein had taken money from him and his family; no court ruling on that was found. CBS reported in February 2026 that he had not been charged.
