Halyk Bank’s 2010 report, which names him as the bank’s ultimate shareholder, says his responsibilities did not allow him to exercise significant control over the fund’s operations and policies.

Timur Kulibayev, head of Samruk-Kazyna. Chairman of the Management Board.

Named on 12 April 2011, succeeding Kairat Kelimbetov. On 26 December 2011 the fund said he had resigned after the riots in Zhanaozen; the Prime Minister’s press service said the Prime Minister had dismissed him and appointed Umirzak Shukeyev.

Timur Kulibayev, chair of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs. Chairman of the Presidium.

Elected when the chamber was created on 9 September 2013; the chamber announced his resignation on 17 January 2022.
